Our second trip to Tar Fly Ranch in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado was especially amazing since not only were we meeting up with Kayden after his week long trip away with Mema and Deda but it was also a chance for a family reunion of the Bill and Bob Sheaves clan.
Jason and his family met up with us the day we flew in and the kids immediatly started a game of war with the pinecones, using Maggie and Bubba as forts.
While Jason held a mini range course with our new BB gun
All was going well until Kayden put the stock on his chin for his second shot...
An extra special treat was having my mom's parents join us as well! Mom took Grandpa out in Maggie to explore the property
First day of fishing!
We started on Hiawatha
But moved to Erie after no one had any bites
And Adam finally caught his first fish!
The next day Heather, Jeff and her kids joined us. The noise level rose 200%!
We enjoyed S'mores at Bill's cabin while the kids had more pinecone fights and climbed all of the rocks
The next day we went geocaching with Jason and his family(minus Noah who was sick)
You can't have a family reunion without a fishing tournament for the kids!
Only the Montgomery kids were lucky that day
On saturday night we enjoyed fire works over lake Ramona
After dinner on the last night Jeff led all of the kids in a scavenger hunt. Liam is still talking about it!

We have such a great time in Colorado every time we go but this trip will always hold a special place in my heart.
